A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Space Combat is an arcade-style game involving two players separated by a screen border with a sole objective to gun down the opponent using their bullets. The player on the left-hand side and right-hand side use the left-hand and right-hand side Alt keys to shoot, respectively. In addition, they each have 5 hearts, with a maximum of 3 bullets being shot at once. Players have the freedom to reset the game due to whatever circumstances they may encounter, with the subsequent ability to return to the home menu and admire the infinite scroll of a nice, arcade-like space background.

Install instructions

  1. Head over to the official Python website, and install the latest version onto your computer: https://www.python.org/downloads/
  2. Once the installer window is open, be sure to hit the "Customize Installation" button:
  3. Upon doing so, make sure that you install the following package (pip) in addition to Python itself:
  4. Once Python, as well as pip, have fully been installed, open a Command Prompt or Terminal window and type in, "pip install pygame"
  5. Then you can head back over to this page, and download the ZIP folder of this game
  6. Extract all of the files from this folder
  7. Run "main.py" and enjoy Space Combat
